In June 2021, reBirth signed an agreement with the Offers family for the purchase of their retail property in the heart of the Loosduinen Shopping Center, at Loosduinse Hoofdstraat 315 in The Hague.

The property has been owned by the Offers family since 1926, where they operated their shop Offers Wonen & Mode (living accessories & fashion) for three generations. The building has 3 floors of retail space and a private apartment of 1,000 sqm in total.

Due to the broad destination, there are various options for giving the building a new function. reBirth intends to partially transform the building into apartments while retaining the retail function on the ground floor. Until then, the Offers family will continue their business at this location.

Loosduinen Shopping Center is a full-service shopping area where large retailers such as Albert Heijn, Aldi, Blokker and Hema alternate with local retailers that have been established there for many years. The general expectation is that substantial investments will be made in the coming years to upgrade the area in order to secure its future.
