On March 2nd 2021, the city council of Rijswijk adopted the Havenkwartier development plans with a large majority of the votes.

As a result, a start can be made with transforming the Plaspoelpolder business park into a mixed urban area where business activities are combined with housing and leisure. The full program includes the development of 2,500 houses, a conference hotel and water-related activities around the port of Rijswijk and along the river Vliet.

This is an important milestone for reBirth: the redevelopment of the former concrete mortar plant has come a step closer. We look forward to the further realization of our plans.
