reBirth acquired a redevelopment position at an exceptional location in Scheveningen last summer. It concerns the purchase of Aquarius Hotel at Zeekant 107.

The transaction encompasses the acquisition of the real estate: five linked townhouses with associated backyards and a total floor space of 1,500 square meters. The agreement with the current owners, the Tuit family, was concluded within a few months.

The hotel activities will be continued by the operator until reBirth starts the redevelopment phase. The destination allows for a diversity of functions, which means that different scenarios are on the table. Continuation of the hotel function by means of an innovative hotel concept is currently being studied, as well as a transformation to apartments.

The Aquarius Hotel is located near the recently redesigned Noordboulevard, between the Pier and the Zwarte Pad. The hotel has 37 rooms, a restaurant with terrace and sea view.
